Detailed 4 Days Uganda Spiritual Journey Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kampala and Munyonyo

Arrive early in the morning at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your accommodation in Kampala. In the afternoon, you will visit Munyonyo Martyrs’ Shrine, located on the shores of Lake Victoria, have lunch at a nearby local restaurant. This shrine commemorates the execution of 22 Catholic martyrs in 1886 and offers a serene setting for prayer and reflection.

In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Lubaga Cathedral and Cultural Tour

In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, attend Mass at Rubaga Cathedral, also known as St. Mary’s Cathedral. This historic cathedral serves as the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kampala and is renowned for its stunning architecture and spiritual significance.

In the afternoon explore the herritage of Kampala with visits to local markets, craft shops, and historical sites such as the Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Evening: Return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Bukalango and Spiritual Retreat

Morning: Depart for Bukalango Parish, located approximately 30 kilometers from Kampala. Attend a spiritual retreat at the Bukalango Minor Basilica, a center for Catholic pilgrimage and prayer.

Day 4: Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine
